This week Carol talks about the battle with comfort foods during stressful times. While some foods may be “comforting” they do not provide the nutrition your body needs. Here are three quick and healthy foods to lean on during hard times:
- Nuts– Nuts are an easy food to grab and carry with you and can help satisfy hunger cravings. They are loaded with vitamins, minerals, protein, healthy fats as well as very rich in fiber and they are also low in saturated fats and high in unsaturated fat which we need in our diets.
